Madeline Hendricks Lewen & Ilana Peña,

Co-Founders

Madeline and Ilana met in 2008 at the Cherubs Theatre Arts program in Evanston, Illinois. Their paths crossed again when they both moved to Los Angeles to pursue careers in writing. As they hustled in the industry, they realized they both craved their own artistic community - somewhere people could feel safe to take risks, be vulnerable, and celebrate each other's work. And so See What Sticks was born! Ilana and Madeline are both playwrights and TV writers. Madeline's credits include Jane The Virgin and Good Trouble. After writing on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Ilana created the series Diary of a Future President, which can be found on Disney+.
